professionally trained wood grading team of high calibre individuals
who select only the finest raw materials to build their kits and
components. The wood is sourced from all over the world so the company
has the choice of the finest individual grains and trees. These woods
are then hand painted with a unique finish, the paint shop experts will
apply eight coats of hand rubbed high gloss lacquer to each drum. This
ensures the finish on every Mapex kit is tough and durable and will not
scratch easily.
