Yamaha Drum Kit Shops
Yamaha
were founded in 1887 as a piano and reed organ manufacturer in the city
of Hamamatsu in the Shizuoka prefecture of Japan. The company's origins
as a
musical instrument manufacturer is still reflected today in the group's
logo; a trio of interlocking tuning forks. The company saw a lot of
early success that continued until World War II, after the war the
company president turned the machines into those used in the
manufacture of motorcycles. The company expanded at an exponential rate
and quickly grew to become the Yamaha
has grown to become the world's largest manufacturer of musical
instruments (including Pianos,"silent" pianos, drums, guitars,
woodwinds, violins, violas, celli, and vibraphones). Yamaha are also leading manufacturers of semiconductors, Audio/Visual,
computer related products, sporting goods, home appliances and
furniture, specialty metals, machine tools, Industrial robots and archery equipment. Yamaha produce some of the best budget drum kits for beginners and like all of their instruments they have earned a reputation for producing a large number of high quality instruments. In recent years Yamaha have began producing more and more high end expensive kits that rival anything from other drum kit makers. Artists that support Yamaha drums include Will Champion of Coldplay, Derrick McKenzie of Jamiroquai, Mark Richardson of Feeder and Larry Mullen of U2.
